Azerbaijani Hospitality and a Hat

posted in: Travel Stories | 0

On our way to Gabala, we stopped at a cute little shop selling all kinds of dry fruits, nuts, candies, local sweets, Turkish Delight, souvenirs and these cute hats.

Here again we got a flavour of Azerbaijani hospitality: the shop owners were so polite and hospitable that we instantly felt at home. They invited us to try everything- and I mean EVERYTHING. And as the hungry tourists literally feasted on everything edible on display, they were smiling and helping everyone out.

We bought some of the delicious local sweets and some nuts and talked about these amazing people all the way back.. And yeah, I couldn’t stop myself from clicking a few pics with these interesting hats.
